About Canton Market
Canton Market is an independent information platform for anyone who buys from Guangzhou — the wholesale capital behind much of the world's affordable fashion, accessories and small goods.
We do three things:
- Map the markets. A structured, filterable directory of Guangzhou's wholesale markets — what each sells, where it is, and how to buy there.
- Teach the operation. Hands-on sourcing guides: MOQs, negotiation, payment safety, quality control, consolidation and shipping.
- Track the Commercial Port. Month-by-month English coverage of the Guangzhou International Commercial Port megaproject (broke ground October 2026, core opens 2028).

We are not affiliated with the Guangzhou International Commercial Port Group, the Guangzhou municipal government, the Canton Fair (China Import and Export Fair) organizers, or any wholesale market operator. Project figures on this site are compiled from public media reports with sources cited — please verify critical numbers before making business decisions.
